International Gathering: 25 Years of Geocaching – Prague 2025
During the extended weekend from May 1 to 4, 2025, Prague will host a major gathering of geocaching enthusiasts to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this popular activity. An attendance of 10,000 geocaching fans from more than 40 countries is expected.
The main event will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Žluté lázně in Prague 4, and will feature a rich program full of entertainment and educational activities.
What is geocaching?
It’s a global game that lies somewhere between fun and sport. The core idea is to search for hidden containers using satellite navigation. At the same time, it serves as a broad platform for active leisure, a source of knowledge, an opportunity for travel, and a way to connect people across age and social groups.
Who is the event for?
The event is designed both for active geocachers and for newcomers who want to learn more about geocaching.
Program
The event will take place at Žluté lázně in the Podolí district of Prague. This unique venue offers plenty of space for a diverse program – including workshops, competitions, family activities, and educational sessions.
One of the highlights will be the large interactive exhibition “GPS Maze Europe”, which has earned praise from visitors around the world.
